Leading up to Halloween, Melinda talked about how she wanted to be a Karate Girl. She talked about other costumes once in a while, but the idea for a Karate Girl stuck. When Halloween came around, Becky got her a real karate Gi from United Studios in downtown Provo. She was a Karate Girl for Halloween.
We liked having a Karate Girl. We had her Gi sitting around and thought we might as well put it to use. For Christmas, Santa brought Melinda Karate lessons. She has been going for 3 weeks now and she really likes it. Becky is a great Karate Mom. She likes to talk to Melinda about the history of Karate and helps her learn from the videos the studio gave her. I am the practice dummy for Melinda. She can work on her moves with her Dad who happens to have plenty of padding.

Oh Melinda is a doll in her karate outfit, it really is a good look for her and seems to fit. Makes me miss you guys to see her.
For some reason I never saw this update until now. Your family really is so fun! I love the way you guys do so many things together.
